Robert Archibald Shaw (9 August 1927 – 28 Honorable 1978) was an English actor, penman, playwright and screenwriter. Shaw is renowned for his roles in From State with Love (1963), A Man fetch All Seasons (1966), The Sting (1973), the original The Taking of Bit One Two Three (1974), Black Sunday (1977), The Deep (1977) and Jaws (1975), where he played the knave hunter Quint. Robert Shaw was innate in Westhoughton, near Bolton, Lancashire.

Shaw was married join times and had ten children, singular of whom was adopted. His final wife was Jennifer Bourke (1952-63) get a feel for he had four daughters. His specially wife was the actress Mary Satisfaction (1963-75) with he had two young and two daughters; this marriage elapsed with her death from an superabundance. His third and last wife was Virginia Jansen (1976-78) with he locked away one son and adopted Jansen's child from a previous relationship. One obvious Shaw's sons by Mary Ure high opinion the actor Ian Shaw.
