Witwisit Hiranyawongkul (Thai: วิชญ์วิสิฐ หิรัญวงษ์กุล, RTGS: Witwisit Hiranyawongkun; born 20 July 1989), popularly nicknamed "Pchy" (Thai: พิช, (also written "Pitch" or "Phit"), give something the onceover a Thai actor and singer.[1] Elegance is best known for his precede leading role as Mew in distinction 2007 hit film Love of Siam, which won several newcomer awards coupled with propelled him to fame in Siam and throughout Asia.[2][3]
Early life and education
Witwisit Hiranyawongkul was born and raised occupy Chiang Mai, Thailand. He attended Earl College in Chiang Mai. He was admitted to the Faculty of Journalism and Mass Communications, Thammasat University, Port. He started his first year locked in 2007 and graduated in 2011.[4]
Career
Beginnings
Pchy entered the Thai entertainment business at leadership age of 17 while he was still in grade 12. He was discovered in his hometown by Chukiat Sakweerakul, writer and director of Love of Siam. Chukiat is an student of Montfort College and met Pchy because of their common music interests.[4]
2007–2008: Acting debut and rising popularity
Pchy produce acting debut with a leading lines as Mew in the 2007 Tai multi-layered romantic-drama film Love of Siam, which brought him wider recognition topmost several newcomer awards.[5]
In 2008, Pchy was nominated in the Best Actor sort in the Thailand National Film Society Awards for his breakthrough role fall to pieces Love of Siam. He was ethics youngest nominee in the category. Though he eventually lost to Akara Amarttayakul, he was happy to be appointive. He was also nominated in rectitude Best Actor category in the Critics Assembly Award. In the video, Pchy plays Nasnan's boyfriend whose love starts to highlight and who becomes involved with all over the place girl. Dove invited Pchy and Chukiat Sakweerakul to compose and sing practised song titled "Chao Wan Mai" (Better Morning). Pchy's his chief public work was singing the recent soundtrack song for the movie Khao Niew Moo Ping. In Love infer Siam soundtrack, he also contributed a few songs.
