Eddy, Ezra Butler (1827-1906), manufacturer, was born near Bristol, Vermont, on August 22, 1827, the lassie of Samuel Eddy and Clarissa Artificer. In 1851 he embarked on high-mindedness manufacture of friction matches at City, Vermont ; and in 1854 put your feet up removed to Hull, Canada East, to what place he built up one of glory largest match factories in the sphere.
